frogonwheels:set completeopt+=preview
probably is the ticket
chowmeinedok
thanks
it doesnt list anything
just the function name
\amethystIs there only one completion?
frogonwheelsOk - means that the omnicompletion you are using doesn't support that .
chowmeinedI mean I don't really care what its with, It would just be nice to have function signatures
no it lists a bunch of things..
and auto inputs them too :-/
but ill deal with that later.. it makes me use arrow keys :(
but no function signatures
frogonwheels<c-n> and <c-p>
\amethystchowmeined: you do have a tag file, right?
chowmeinedyes
i made it with that ctags-exuberant thing
frogonwheelsusing the options suggested?
chowmeinedyes preview
\amethystchowmeined: And the thing you're completing is in the tags file?
chowmeinedyes
its just printf
\amethystso how did you generate the tags?
chowmeinedctags-exuberant -R -f ~/.vim/systags /usr/include /usr/local/include
and i have set tags+=~/.vim/systags .. in my .vimrc
\amethystand when you do printf^X^O the list pops up, but it only have the name?
