pmcnabb:r! and :,! are my most recent favorites
mindwarpwhat do those do, pmcnabb?
pmcnabb:r reads a file into your current buffer, and :r! takes the output of a command and puts it into your buffer
i.e. :r!ls -l puts a directory listing into my buffer
mindwarpoh, very nice
pmcnabb:,! is very similar, but it overwrites the current line. or you have a visual block and overwrite it
frogonwheelseg :.,$!sort replaces the entire file with the output of the file piped through sort
although there is now a :sort command - it doesn't have the same kind of options
xenoterracideI want to move to the netherlands... or that area...
anyone know how cold it is there in the winter?
felixhummelprobably as cold as the north west german shore, so usually around 0 deg. celsius.
sentewhat is the variable which is the currently opened file, when i'm doing :! commands?
or register maybe?
frogonwheelsyou can use %
senteyes
that's what i wanted :)

frogonwheelsyep - what did you want?
klingonill get u a ss
deryniRead :help 'statusline to configure the statusline, also play with your theme.

frogonwheelsyeah - standard.. so you want it like that?
