whykingweird
all kind of syntaxes
but not cpp
glen_quagmireok i'm using bufexplorer like vim professional enterprise certified personel
Zathruswhyking: I think that may be your problem.... sounds like a borked vim install. Try another syntax for which the syntax file DOES exist though
whykingyeah
i just did
but still
no highlighting
where do i get the syntax files from?
Zathrusthey're part of the install.
check :scriptnames to see if the syntax file was loaded
whykingthere are mostly just plugins
Zathrusno clue then; something is deeply broken in how you compiled it.
whykinghmmm
weird
thx anyway

whatspyhi, starting from a specific directory, I would like to learn how to use find | grep | vim to load all files contained in the start dir's subdirectories?
for instance, dir A contains dirB & dirC. both dirB and dirC contain many text files...
ben_mYou mean you want the output in a new buffer?
whatspyben_m: ehhhh, yes that's the case, if by "buffer" we mean "file opened by vim"
