alienbrain__MarcWebe1, ah cool! thanks
bartoshi, how can i change tab indent to 4 spaces?
MarcWebe2bartos: :h sw
thpobartos: well you should probably read the help to softtabstop and expandtab
bartosthanx
balodjaMarcWebe2, not sw, but ts
MarcWebe2bartos: Sorry. Then missunderstood your question. I thought you want vim to insert 4 spaces when pressing tab.. Anyway you've found the solution.
bartosMarcWebe2, that is exactly what i wanted to do :)
but i dit it with 'set softtabstop=4'
MarcWebe2bartos: I'm very sorry. I forgot to tell you to not use tab but <c-t> and <c-d> to increment, decrement indenting. ;)
cr3is there a way to perform a search-replace and preserve case? for example, if I do :%s/foo/bar/g, I'd like it to also replace Foo by Bar
LeoNerdI often want that, and so far I've not found a neat way to do it.. :/
LeFallenYou'd need like a case mask, that _would_ be cool
MarcWebe2cr3, LeoNerd Do you know :h sub-replace-special?
Miloschlo, all
i released a new version of my php.vim indent script today, just fyi
the one that was included in 6.X but not 7.X
WebDragon|awayMilosch: it didn't make the cut for release with 7.x ?
Miloschwas replaced by another one
WebDragon|awayhow's that happen ... ? O_o
Miloschpolitics are just so awesome

WebDragon|awaystudies the ceiling for leaks
Miloschhappy to discuss it, but perhaps in another forum
WebDragon|awayhttp://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1120 this is the first one that comes up under google but the date is old
which one is yours ?
Miloschthat is the one that replaced mine
WebDragon|awayyou upload your new one to there yet ?
Miloschhttp://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=346
WebDragon|awayaha
mention on the script page that it was originally part of vim 6.x
remissso that script is better than the default one?
WebDragon|awaya little additional exposition on the page so you have more content there for google to find, will help you out as well
Miloschi don't know if it is better, but it always worked for me
anytime someone had a fix for a problem, i patched it
WebDragon|awaywith the sparse content there, your google ranking won't be as high as the other one
compare the two and you'll see what I mean, Milosch
MiloschWebDragon|away: that concept has only recently become an issue for me ;)
WebDragon|away;)
