Nubbiedemonspork: that would be ESD. if you can configure it, make all of your applications use Alsa.

Geoffrey2mc44, that's what I've been trying to use, but the "sudo /sbin/grub-install /dev/sda" command returns an error that it couldn't find a device for /boot
