hungarxtknight: want to make sure everything works fine.
jetscreamer: well... i don't want to warn anyone
drummer1189sure
hungari want to make sure a "reboot" works fine
jetscreamer-k Don't really shutdown; only send the warning messages to everybody... mmm maybe not
hungaryou missunderstand me
jetscreamer: i want to make sure my server boots when im rebooting
without accully doing it.
PriceChildhungar, only thing you "NEED" to reboot for is to switch kernel... which will lchange pretty soon.
hungarso it won't fail when i reboot
xtknighthungar: you pretty much need to reboot to test if a reboot works
hungarPriceChild: well... i want to know if the server will fail or not.
PriceChildhungar, well then yeah, only one way to know ;)
hungar:/
sluimersHi, where can I find better drivers for an Intel video media-accelerator 900, 128 MB?
drummer1189however the light never turned on and wireless isnt even listen in the wired, wireless, modem. i did have one problem with the sudo make stuff but that was the only problem and i install ndiswrapper through sudo apt-get install
jetscreamerhungar: maybe changing runlevel might tell you what you want to know... might not
xtknight!intel
dr_wuDoes anyone here use the Google Calendar daemon GCALDaemon?
ubotuSorry, I don't know anything about intel - try searching on http://bots.ubuntulinux.nl/factoids.cgi
sluimers!intel
xtknightsluimers: i think there are some on intel's site though they aren't very easy to install
drummer1189: we'd need to know the problem you had with sudo make, as it could have been fatal
drummer1189No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
xtknightslight problem
:P
drummer1189: where are you typing make?
drummer1189terminal
tuqannxtknight: I have DISABLED_MODULES="fglrx| in the linux-restricted-modules-common, is that correct?
drummer1189i dont think thats the right error though
xtknighttuqann: eh? i guess so. it sounds like you're disabling the built-in fglrx, and that sounds right to me if you're trying drivers off ati.com
drummer1189let me run throught it one more time
xtknightdrummer1189: sounds good
drummer1189well, i installed ndiswrapper through sudo apt-get install
i dont know what directory it extracted to which is probably why it didnt work
sluimersthanks for the help xtknight
