crdlb^Ocean^, have you set the proper default in gnome-display-properties ?
SCanzt1this is horrible, never mind not being able to retrieve my files, i cant even log onto windows
detectiveinspektdoes ubuntu have some sort of SYN protection automaticly turn on?
D7my network-manager applet says no devices found, this is an ibook g4, wireless works, but network manager does nothing, any ideas?
^Ocean^crdlb, I cant see how that has anything todo with the ctrl+alt +/- funtion changing screen resolutions....
AlexC_SCanzt1: what are you trying to do?
^Ocean^the Gnome-display-properties works just fine, change resolutions at will and etc... the issue is, i have lost the ctrl+alt +/- key bored short cut
kelsinD7: any interface you want network-manager to manage has to not be in /etc/network/interfaces so that the system doesn't manager it first
crdlb^Ocean^, I don't think keyboard resolution switching is supported by recent versions of X
but I could be wrong of course
SCanzt1alex: 2 things
AlexC_AlexC_ not Alex
