seamus7bobbyyu: I used it when i wanted to have greater access to certain features... as I was planning a dual boot with Windows I had read that the Alternate CD would allow me to have more options when choosing how to set up the boot screen (Grub/MBR).

k-wjust upgraded to 7.04 on my HP nx6325 - just works great, even can play enemy territory. hibernation etc. great!
