SUSEhelpNo, I disagree, joobie is the one that is the suck.
joobieu guys should switch OS
and teach novell a lesson
they are screwing the concept that SuSe was built from - open source
switch OS to another flavour of linux and teach novell a lesson
dont keep using their OS and supporting their way
think about it
if everyone stopped using them
or their numbers cut down so much
WE can teach novell a lesson

thx1138I am copying files using Konqueror, and strangely, it becomes "Stalled" for like a minute, then starts up for a bit, then stalls again. Any idea what is going on here?
df shows enough space
its strange. as glad as I am to be rid of XP, it never did this. Google doesn't reveal much. Maybe there are some log files I should examine?
sjonesthx1138, maybe try #kde or check at bugs.kde.org? I don't use konq, so I couldn't tell you whether that's (ab)normal behavior.
thx1138I'll keep observing it. I need to determine if its Konqueror, versus just doing the copy from the terminal window.
jengelhbigtime caching, I'd say
or rather decaching
thx1138yikes. there are some very interesting messages in /var/log/warn
suse kernel: ata5: softreset failed (1st FIS failed)
jengelhuh oh
thx1138could you be more... specific?
