marktaffthx
I'm looking at svn now, thus far, klipper seems untouched for quite some time
opensusameplz can anyone tell me whr smart or yast stores the rpms which it downloads & installs? where does it cache the rpms?
bulent_oktklipper rocks
sPiNmarktaff, i dont think its kipper
i think it has to do with the qt widget or something
that one comment talks about it being in standard kate, but that is not my experience
opensusameplz can anyone tell me whr smart or yast stores the rpms which it downloads & installs? where does it cache the rpms?
sPiNdont repeat your self opensusame
opensusame:(
marktaffwell, whatever it is, it must be something recent, as a few weeks ago it was ok. Hmmm...
sPiNfor sure
bulent_oktmarktaff: what is the problem u experience wt klipper ?
marktaffbulent_okt: the clipboards are no onger separated
bulent_oktmarktaff: thats an option
marktaffif if copy to clipboard, then highlight some other text that I want to paste over, the highlighted text gets copied
thus I can't replace
bulent_okt: but the option is broken :-(
bulent_oktlet me try
sPiNyep
marktaffsuse packages put out new kde packages weekly, right?
bulent_oktmarktaff: it works fine here
marktaffso maybe I can get smart to downgrade kde a few weeks, to narow down which upgrade caused it
bulent_okt: try it in web forms in Konqi
sPiNmarktaff, you cant
marktaffHmm.
sPiNthe bs does not maintain old packages
bulent_okti ctrl-c'ed in konqueror then slected address in konqueror and replaced wt ctrl-c
i ctrl-c'ed in konqueror then slected address in konqueror and replaced wt ctrl-v
sPiNbulent_okt, all you have to do is take a url bar in firefox, or konq or the find dialog, and then select a portion of it with your mouse then look in your klipper
opensusameplz can anyone tell me whr smart or yast stores the rpms which it downloads & installs? where does it cache the rpms?
bulent_oktsPiN: it works fine in web forms as well, copy then select then paste over imaen
sPiNyou dont copy anything
all you do is select some text in the location bar, or on a firefox page or pretty much anywhere
its then in the clipboard
bulent_oktyeap, but midle click pastes that selection whereas ctrl v pasted previously ctrl-c'ed text
so there are still 2 different buffers
sPiNi did not know that...
i never use middle click, i hate it
hrmm well that does appre to be the case when selecting in konversation
