ToErrbut once you buy into it, it's great.
cliffstahI've done a little python, tcl, etc, and perl.. so actually it's not that unfamiliar I guess
ToErr(Sounds like a drug.)
cliffstahlol
ToErrSo has anyone been talking?
cliffstahI'm using rails with weborb & flex at the moment, pretty farkin' cool actually
nope, just you and I
ToErrWow! 461 silent people.
cliffstahwell, i guess the chances that they're actually silent are pretty slim
ToErrI came from ASP.NET and C#. Talk about a change.
cliffstahlol
I've done pretty much everything I've bumped into
ToErrMaybe that's why they aren't chatting.
cliffstahgood point
ToErrThat sounded a bit wrong.
cliffstahlol
but true nonetheless
ToErrOh well...
I was hoping some could point me towards a migration to MySQL data type conversion listing.
cliffstahhmm, I'm about 3-4 days in so I have no clue
pergesudoes anyone know why with_scope would ignore the :limit option? For example, Video.with_scope(:find => { :limit => 5 }) { c.videos }.size => 13
ToErrLOL
pergesuToErr: conversion from what?
ToErra migration
:string = varchar
pergesuah I get it
ToErr:text = text
any suggestions.
I've been poking through Google a bit at a time.
cliffstahhrm
pergesuToErr: check out http://www.height1percent.com/articles/2006/01/30/on-rails-migrations-and-postgresql-data-types
it doesn't show the exact types, but it shows you how you can find them. They're just mappings that you could override if you want. So you can take a look at the connector source and see what the exact mappings are
ToErrCool. That's exactly what I was thinking the same. Off to the docs...
e4is there a way in KDE to select an OS to reboot with before you get to grub?
I'd like to be able to reboot to say an older kernel version or Windows
right in KDE
ToErrWould you believe there isn't one for MySQL?!?
e4oh, dangit!
I'm sorry!
cliffstahso you should be!
