jstephensonDoes rake migrate log its output anywhere?
pauld08jstephenson: just the console window afik
jstephensonKeeps closing my console before I get the chance to see the out put -_-;;
pauld08start one yourself then
if u run it that way it won't close
jstephensonOh, it does
pauld08start a new console of your own i mean
it kills the console window?
jstephensonUh-huh
pauld08hot diggidy
jstephensonThis is Windows, you understand. I come to expect things like this.
pauld08i guess you could redirect the output to a file
yah i do it in windows all the time
jstephensonMm
So is there a Win equiv to Lin's cat?
pauld08rake db:migrate > output.txt
i believe
jstephensonO rly?
Let's see
Well it managed to cap one line
pauld08and what is it? hehe
i did dir > hi.txt
and it worked
jstephensonJust the
(in PATH) line
RappermasI'm trying to run rake db:migrate but I get an error
undefined method `users' for #<ActiveRecord::ConnectionAdapters::MysqlAdapter:0x8e6b8d0>
i have a table in mysql called users
jstephensonWell, at least you can see your error
DannoHungDoes anyone know if RoutingError or UnknownAction exceptions get sent to log_error?
Rappermasand in my migration, i'm using users.create()
pauld08jstephenson: then maybe you're alreayd migrated all the way up? or u can do --trace to see more maybe
jstephensonpauld08: Not migrated full according to MySQL... I'll try the trace
Rappermasso...why is it saying that I'm trying to use an incorrect method?
or an undefined one to be more precise
pauld08Rappermas: what's the line you're runing with users. in it?
jstephensonpauld08: The useful output continues to elude me...
Rappermasthere's a few of them
jeremydurhamRappermas: do you have a user model? You may want to pastie code; you'll have better luck getting help
