sheldonhbbraem, adh1003: 5xx means routing _broke_, not just that you made an unroutable request
adh1003Freaky: ...No.
Freakyhmm :)
adh1003sheldonh: really? "ActionController::RoutingError (no route found to match "/forum/users" with {:method=>:delete})"
dasil003is there someplace easy to lookup 1.1.6 docs?
adh1003-> 500.
Freakysure it doesn't put in the <div> because it's expecting to put it immediately after the <form>?
sheldonhadh1003: correct. i get the same exception, and the server replies to the client with a 404
adh1003It might be, but (1) why the hard-coded margin and padding styles and (2) why put it in a DIV anyway? It's already contained by the form.
someoneouttherehow can I make rails helpers output html instead of xhtml
adh1003sheldonh: Maybe we should start searching Rails code for uses of rand() ;)
sheldonhhehe
bbraemsheldonh: shouldn't it show 404.html then?
sheldonhno
bbraemsheldonh: why not? and how can I make it display that :)
adh1003Freaky: Anyway, it's pretty trivial stuff, but it's slowing me down on a lazy Sunday evening of what should've been pain-free Rails fun :D
Freakyadh1003: 1. cos otherwise the div will do something cos that's not hidden, 2. because forms not containing block level elements before the actual form elements are illegal ;)
sheldonhbbraem: bbraem no idea
usser(ruby quertion, bless me) is there any method like uniq but which does something like..... ['a', 'a', 'b', 'b', 'a'].method => [ ['a',3], ['b',2] ]? or [{:value=>'a', :count => 3},{:value=>'b', :count => 2}] ?
bbraemmmm
someoneouttheredoes anyone know how can I make helpers output html instead of xhtml?
guys?
adh1003Freaky: Ooo. Since when - XHTML?
Freakysince forms I think ;)
<!ELEMENT FORM - - (%block;|SCRIPT)+ -(FORM) -- interactive form -->
adh1003someoneoutthere: It's hard-coded to XHTML. Which is annoying, because Rails doesn't generally serve an XHTML content type.
dasil003Anyone know where I can find 1.1.6 docs
adh1003(And as we all know, XHTML served as HTML is considered harmful - flame on...)
someoneoutthereadh1003: that's bad, it means I'll have to make my own helpers
actionadh1003 nods.
adh1003nods.
someoneoutthereadh1003: yea I kno that
adh1003I just bit the bullet and XHTML-d it all. It seemed easier.
bbraemperhaps the exception_notification plugin makes that go wrong
adh1003And then I realised that you have to be Really Good to get XHTML right, and it wasn't easier anymore, but it was a good learning process.
sheldonhbbraem: good guess
bbraemon one system it does not run and I do not get that routing error page
adh1003Freaky: I wonder why validators let that through. Well, I learned something new today :)
bbraemon the other one it runs and I get that routing error page
someoneoutthereadh1003: I'm not using xhtml (application/xml+xhtml) because safari have problems with javascript dom in xhtml
Freakysomeoneoutthere: drop the / from TagHelper#tag ?
