defsdoorTrengo: good managers are purely politics filters
crolle17jstew yes. you're right. i search for statements at ms-sql-server-sites. maybe i find anything.
_davdefsdoor, yeah that's an important part of it, but there are other parts you -could- do on your own
if you did everything else (TDD, communication with the customer, short iteration, continuous integration) that would make a big difference in quality and sanity as well
but i would think you'd not do any of those things nearly as well without and existing team to learn it from
defsdoor_dav: when I first read about XP I looked at all that and thought - well yeah - thats obvious - it's how I've always done things
_dav: I always saw XP as formalising how coders actually like to code so that managers think they are following some sort of documented process
_davyeah, a lot of it is obvious, but we often do a lot of things that we know aren't teh best thing to do, whenleft to oursevles
ha, yeah perhaps.
jstewwho's going to railsconf this year?

by default it assumes development
matt1982development log has two lines in it none of which are error messages
jimmygoondoes RoR have any kind of template support? I know it kind of circumvents the MVC model but I want to be able to have templates that I can easily switch between - even more so than just CSS
