| Aria | TheOutlander: Nah, I understand the points where IMAP can be scaled or not. Its only bottleneck is a cluster IMAP server needs a central source of sequential numbers. Not exactly rocket science. TheOutlander: After that, you can just throw hardware at it. More machines/drives/load balancers/etc. and I've heard of two dual-processor machines of yesteryear handling 50Kuser loads. |
