apeirosOT: are there any reasons why processing get forms is important?
kesVdrfreeze: see ri --help :P
apeirosassumed that post form processing works...
stouset/usr/share/ri/1.8/system on my Debian machine
drfreezekesV: really? :O
kesVdrfreeze: yes the help includes search paths
apeiros/opt/local/share/ri on my system :)
avegasobject) function?
hi guys
davidwdamn... this CSV module in ruby is not "liberal with what it accepts" :-(
drfreezekesV: cool. thanks
grumbelirb(main):088:0> REXML::XPath.match(ret[5].parent, "table")
=> [<table border='0' cellpadding='10'> ... </>, <table cellspacing='5' border='1' cellpadding='3' width='550'> ... </>]
irb(main):089:0> REXML::XPath.match(ret[5].parent, "table[@width=\"550\"]")
=> []
does anybody know what is going wrong here?
the table element contains an attribute width with the value 550, but when I try to match against that attribute I get an empty result
avegasis there a ruby analogue to python's dir function
apeiros.methods, .constants, .
ri Module
all of that stuff is in there iirc
LoganCapaldoin what context of using dir?
avegaswell, I don't think ri knows about some object I just got handed
drfreezeavegas: Dir["*"} ??
LoganCapaldo(IIRC it does different things for mondules and objects)
kesVdavidw: would you believe there is an alternative csv module, because the default one is too liberal ;)
avegasbut .methods 'll probably do
chris2apeiros: well, you need get forms for get requests?
davidwkesV, which one is that?
chris2apeiros: bookmarkable queries etc
apeirosavegas, all of that stuff is inherited, so it doesn't matter that ri doesn't know what object you get.
davidwtoo liberal with a reader is hard to find
apeiroschris2, yes, but should forms be bookmarkeable?
chris2of course
apeirosI mean sent forms
chris2yes
apeirosexample?
kesVdavidw: it's named fastcsv or something like that
teferipstickne: ping
chris2that guarantees they are indempotent
