raugh
memmove keeps giving me "invalid type".. such an informative error
josepharmbrusterra: how are you using it ? patebin "?
rait's only a line or two..
display = ctypes.cast(display_buffer, ctypes.POINTER(ctypes.c_ubyte))
display_buffer is from create_string_buffer
jpfariashi!
CSWookiejpfarias: Yo.
jpfariasI'm trying to setup python2.5.1 on ubuntu dapper
raand I'm just trying to memmove another buffer from create_string_buffer to it
jpfariasit installs ok
but then when I try to run ez_setup.py to install setup tools
I get a ZipImport error
complaining zlib is not available
raI can memmove fine directly to display
jpfariasI'm pretty sure zlib is available though :-)
any ideas?
rabut if I want to move it to some offset within display it explodes
jpfariashello?
eventualbuddhahow do i find out whether an object "obj" is present in an array "arr"?
raobj in arr
eventualbuddhara: thanks
raok, I don't understand this memmove thing at all
I can't get it to work even in the interpreter
ctypes.memmove(display, ctypes.create_string_buffer(row), tile_width)
row is a Python string
display is a ctypes.LP_c_ubyte
