raand it's a pretty useless indent
gzlmeaning, you have for ...: if ...: and the entire body of the for is inside the if. you could avoid it by only looping over what you really want.
it's not a huge issue.
Dtu3ZOhtlnmine didn't do an extra indent?
gzlit does, you have to indent after the 'if'
raDtu3ZOhtln: it also doesn't run
unless you indent, right
gzloh, fine.
rafor blah: if cond: <enter> doesn't run
Dtu3ZOhtlngzl: no..you don't
gzlyeah, you're right.
Dtu3ZOhtlni don't see why it doesn't run either
gzlanyway, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with yours
it does run
rait gives me invalid syntax
gzlyou're not supposed to put it all in one line
rabah
Tmanis there any guarantee that when iterating through a dict, the order of iteration will be the same as the order in the result of dict.keys()?
zerokhi :)
frooschTman: definitely not when adding/removing keys in between
Tmanif it's kept constant
marienzTman: why do you want to know?
frooschnow that's a good question
Tmanbecause it affects some code I'm writing.. it's not a big deal
synxI forget how to open a file as unicode again.
kim0Hi, how can an instance of a certain class, know the current instance name it is under
frooschkim0: any object can be known by many names
marienzit can't, since it is quite common to have a bunch of them.
Kseroa rose by any other name...
marienzor none, for that matter.
(if it's in a dict or list with no other references)
why do you need to know?
kim0but a certain instance, only has one name, eh ?
marienznope
frooscha=MyClass() ; b=a .... what is the name of the object?
marienzyes, that :)
I need to type faster
kim0:)
