dazjorzGumbyBRAIN: You are a bit slow today. Why?
GumbyBRAINToday i find you've been bit by bit.
Chipzzdazjorz: which is way longer than that band exists
dazjorzVeXocide: $kernel->state( 'USR1' => \&sigUSR1 );
VeXocide: I think you need to give a POE session state to that, not a coderef
VeXocide: maybe it's better if you first write a script that can catch op signals
and acts upon them, using POE.
Chipzzf00li5h: basically I'm doing some form of accounting, with a daemon, which will insert records in a mysql database
VeXocidedazjorz: ah, thanks, that should do it

rindolfJuerd: can you please install elinks on feather?
Juerd: hi, BTW.
ChipzzI have another problem too btw, which I asked about before, but didn't get an answer to yet
dazjorzHi juerd
Chipzzwhen I try to make a thread-based socket server, the server sometimes just dies
and with just dies, I mean exactly that
no error message at all, no exception, no nothing
perl just seems to give up and go *poof*
dazjorzChipzz: do you have debug prints to see when it happens?
