LeoNerdThey don't quite realise humans are a bit bigger than they are, and can't hide as easily :)
pifa match made in heaven
TeratogenI have four ferrets but Sweetheart is the only one who bites
overkordbaeverIt's probably hard to raise the people to behave like that, but well, I hope that it's possible to teach the human to not be so egoistic
Teratogeneach ferret has its own personality
totally diffeernt
overkordbaeverNa, gotta take a walk in the nice weather before the sun goes down and it's cold
nubaoverkordbaever: do you really believe you can change the animality in man by education ?
overkordbaevernuba, Well, the behavior of man has changed a lot since we were cavemen ;)
nubawe're just animals, only more sofisticated in our games, masked by culture and civilization
overkordbaever: please show me where
jonsmith1982thats what seems to have happened already nuba
TeratogenI have found the perfect alcohol for me: California ruby port.
nubaafaik, we still compete for resources.. we still predate/slave other groups/clans/etc.
overkordbaevernuba, that's true though
anyway, gotta go outside and enjoy the nice weather while it lasts, bbl
jonsmith1982yeah it is a nice day today :) here in the UK anyway
TeratogenUK has nice days?
xandis it? too cold for my liking
jonsmith1982thanks to global warming :)
perlmonkey2nuba: haven't we created elaborate methods, philosophies and social constructs for handling problems that arise between different "tribes"? While wars still occur, aren't great swaths of the world currently at peace? Are there hundreds of millions of people living together without conflict?
Teratogenusually it is fog, snow, or rain in UK I thought
perlmonkey, take a deep breath
xandthere's a lot less snow in the UK than say the US
there's hardly any snow here
and it doesn't get nearly as cold
nubaaren't there thousands or millions of insects living without conflict in a termite house?
just cause there's a pattern and a language doesn't means we're not animals anymore
pifwe're not animals, only much worse
Teratogenman is the animal who laughs
perlmonkey2I wasn't argueing that point, only that we are no longer "cavemen" and that we've changed quite a bit.
jonsmith1982through educating our selves
Teratogenwhen an animal can "get" the punchline of a joke, and laugh at it, well then that animal will be "human"
pifjust watch a dragonfly hover
Teratogenbecause that is what humans are
nubaperlmonkey2: i dont argue that we're on longer "cavemen", but I think we're not as further from the caveman as we'd like to think we are.
Teratogenthat is the definition of human
we laugh
=)
nubamonkeys laugh
