Enlight_unidazjorz, well power failure may screw some datas
Caelumthere's HTML::Strip too
Enlight_unidazjorz, and xfs is quite paranoid about this, so it deltes potentially affected files on next mount while replaying the journal
Hammwellthanks Caelum
JedaiEnlight_uni: but usually it's data you're messing around with when the power failure hit, isn't it ?
Enlight_uniJedai, yup
CaelumHammwell: you could also just use lynx -dump (or links, or w3m)
Enlight_uniJedai, the dir was probably opened for modifications a this time
dazjorzEnlight_uni: it _deletes_ data that could be affected?! So it just makes sure all files are affected instead of just a few?
Enlight_unidazjorz, didn't understood what you meant

Enlight_uniwhat are the \*FILEHANDLE in perldoc IPC::open2 ???
I mean the \* part
dazjorz:/
Enlight_uniis it references or something?
dazjorzEnlight_uni: I'm not really sure about that, but it should mean something like "give a reference of typeglob"
actiondazjorz doesn't really exactly know the differences between STDOUT, *STDOUT and \*STDOUT
dazjorzdoesn't really exactly know the differences between STDOUT, *STDOUT and \*STDOUT
and where to use which
Enlight_unimmmm promesses a bunch of headaches :s
Chris62vwSTDOUT is a filehandle
*STDOUT is a glob-like thingie
\*STDOUT is a way you make a reference to the STDOUT filehandle (I am pretty sure)
dazjorz, using lexical filehandles, like this: open my $fh, ... makes life easier
Enlight_uniok, but shall FILEHANDLE exists before we use \*FILEHANDLE?
dazjorzYeah, Chris62vw, that's what I always do. :)
Enlight_uni: Afaik not
Dan
Dang, can I extract POD using Eclipse?
Enlight_unidazjorz, cool
dazjorzI'd like to extract documentation for my modules to the website...
easiest would be to just extract POD from my modules to a directory in another project, automatically on each change
