jdv79it seems p6 forces cuddled "things" to use it. anyone else notice that?
rindolfdazjorz: so you mean it only works on Linux so far?
dazjorzrindolf: Yes
merlynwhy do you need to do that?
dazjorzdo what?
rindolfjdv79: I don't understand.
dazjorzor are you talking to somebody else?:/
merlynhave an SSH client *in* a CGI script?
if you can use HTTP, you can probably use HTTPS
and if you can use HTTPS, it's trivial to tunnel
dazjorzmerlyn: I can't run any programs there.
merlyn"there"
Z
?
dazjorzmerlyn: It's at school.
merlynwherever you are running the browser, you can certainly run other code
actionCPAN upload: Perl-MinimumVersion-0.14 (++++ ) by ADAMK
CPANupload: Perl-MinimumVersion-0.14 (++++ ) by ADAMK
dazjorzmerlyn: Can't run any exe's, firewall, java can't access internet, etc. It's a complete pain and it's also completely useless.
merlynok, if that's the environment, then running ssh inside CGI is also unethical
and stuff like that made me a felon
infidelmerlyn, you ever think about writing a book on wxperl or perltk?
dazjorzmerlyn: Yet at long days or boring hours I want to be able to access my server to do useful stuff.
merlynso don't be doing that
dazjorzmerlyn: Why is that unethical?
merlynlife isnt' about making you unbored
"want" "want" "want"
I want to drive a ferrari and date Jessica Alba
and be six foot tall
dazjorzmerlyn: I know you want that :)
merlynjust because you "want" something doesn't mean you get to do it
learn this lesson NOW
before you end up in jail
dazjorzmerlyn: Indeed. But if it's possible, I can always try.
merlynit's possible to shoot someone
it's possible to push someone off a cliff
and then you go to jail
I suggest you STOP now
before you get into serious trouble
circumventing the rules is a great way to get a rap sheet.
dazjorzmerlyn: I never wanted to shoot someone. And if I do want to do that once, it's against my moral and ethical views. I won't.
