whitenoyceyeah i got a msg
telling me ppl is short for people
Randalit should have said:
perlbot, ppl
perlbotppl is "parts per liter". Perhaps you meant "people"?
whitenoyceoh right, that way it have a flair of indignation
Randalsomeone keeps f'ing with the definition
whitenoyceRandal, how is self righteousness working out for you these days?
RandalI wouldn't know. :)
if what I was doing was only about me, I'd be gathering data. :)
whitenoycei don't get it
theblue_night all.
Randalit was for the rest of the channel, not you
whitenoycewell it seemed addressed toward me
Randalcheese guy!
Hmm. In the past few weeks, a new wave of spam has been incoming, such taht I get new spam every 10 minutes or so.
spamassassin isn't stopping it
I think the spammers are getting smarter
whitenoyceindeed they are
too much money
dewi'm getting stocks spam about that often
whitenoyceRandal, you're very vocal
Iceshadowexcuse my ignorance, as im still learning ;D Why can you not say that '20.0.0.1' < '20.0.1.1' ?
when referring to strings
Randal< is for numbers
not strings
Jmax-Iceshadow: perldoc perlop, search for gt
Randallt is for strings
whitenoyceunless you're using bash
then < is acceptable for comparing strings
dewdynamic IP blacklists help, if you can stomach losing all mail from any dynamic IP :)
Randalhe'd be in #bash then
this is #perl
Jmax-Randal: you never know!
i've gotten a straight up PHP question before (no regex involved)
whitenoyceRandal, how did you become such a friendly guy, i mean seriously
IceshadowRandal: you are right on the money, using perl ;D
whitenoyceyou seem like such a nice guy
the type of guy a woman would ditch in a heartbeat b/c he was a big pussy
