RiXtErsorry
jjoreDid you really pay Jmax? Huh.
Kiladenyes
cfeddeRiXtEr: I'm realy confused about what you want. Or maybe you are.
Jmax-to be fair that was before i knew that he was spamming myspace
RiXtErcfedde: i am a hash idiot
cfedde: i can handle arrays
cfedde: hashs confuse the hell out of me
jjoreSpamming MySpace? Oh gawd. Please die then.
dkrJmax-: heh, that was my first thought
cfeddeRiXtEr: too bad. hashes are a veruy powerful concept once you understand them.
dkr$ + myspace automation. ponders what field of endeavor this task lies.
Jmax-dkr: did you see the link?
RiXtErcfedde: which is what i am trying to do now :)
thanks
theblueIs MySpace even worth pissing around with?
dkrit's a good thing most spammers are dumb
Jmax-yep
cfeddetheblue: it's one of those places I look for your name if you come in for an interview.
jjoreI have a MySpace account but I never go there because of all the spam I get. Of course... I'm only there because of the bands I'm keeping pace with n' stuff.
thebluecfedde: Ah, now that'd make sense.
Randalwow - I can't believe that works
I created a mixin class that wedges itself between parent and me.
thebluecfedde: On second thought, what exactly were you planning on doing with it?
Randalnothing spectacular, but it has to do a lot of shucking and jiving to do it
cfeddetheblue: Just checking internet footprint.
thebluecfedde: Please, go ahead.
cfeddeI'll make you take a drug test too.
you know. all those basic HR things.
jjoreEw. The idea of HR going to MySpace is icky.
That's not a space for professional personas.
cfeddehey. they're your foot prints. I'm just looking for them.
Caelummaking people submit to drug tests is rather humiliating too
jjoreNot that I've *anything* on my MySpace but I pretty much do object to HR going there. HR doesn't belong there.
You know, "oh, please go read my journal or watch me joke with my friends."
cfeddeI find that kinda funny. you think that you're blog is some how private?
Caelumnot a bad idea to keep things you'd want the HR of a potential employer to not see off the internet
jjoreI *do* have a private blog which isn't visible without being on my "friends" list and that shouldn't even be visible to HR people BUT... such places are a social context and that's important.
dkryeah, kind of like going out drinking with your buddies is done in public, but I'd object to HR surveilling you there ;)
jjoreIt's not just an undifferentiated mass of "everything accessible is published."
