dazjorzbbl
workrelatedmake had returned bad status
dazjorzWell
Ani-_workRelated: I'm sure it said more then that.
dazjorzI hope Term::Menu 0.07 comes by in CPAN :)
CaelumI just tried ActivePerl with Mingw and it works fine! It just checks for mingw gcc in PATH
HarzileinCaelum: nice...
Caelum: any documentation i should read?
Randaldoesn't the idea of an optional argument freak out a Java programmer?
ologyHewy what do you know. The development version of a module, with purposely failing tests, that I uploaded the other day got noticed by a cpan tester. I was beginning to wonder.
LeoNerdRandal: If they're trailing ones, presumablly they just think in terms of overloaded functions?
ologys/Hewy/Hey/
HarzileinCaelum: did you try a simple module or something that is heavy on the dlls?
workrelatedi get a warning at the end saying cannot install Win32:OLE dont know what it is
LeoNerdIt's all about function signature :)
RandalHmm I'm not exactly looking forward to the days when I'll have to constantly wrestle that in Perl6. :)
dazjorzMaybe I'll just wait two more minutes to _see_ it come by. :)
RandalPerl6 - taking a good thing and making it less different.
CaelumHarzilein: just install mingw and dmake and put them somewhere in PATH. I tried installing List::MoreUtils with cpan. Something that depends on, say, openssl would probably require some manual Makefile.PL tinkering to set the right library path
ologyperl 6" is a mythical beast
Randal6 inches?
the 6-inch perl. :)
LeoNerdA 6-inch sub?
hobbsmmm
CaelumHarzilein: but you can always use "look", edit some stuff, run perl Makefile.PL, make, make install....
RandalOh to be in Porto Alegre this week instead of two weeks from now
here - 45 and cloudy/rainy
there - high of 93 today

dazjorzAh
LeoNerdDoes anyone have any thoughts on using Hash::Utils::lock_keys in object constructors...?
dazjorzThere it is :)
eden_cRandal: I can hardly wait too :)
dazjorz[18:46] * CPAN upload: Term-Menu-0.07 by DAZJORZ
Harzileinbtw, any ideas on how to make ap install stuff not as localmachine-related?
Randaleden_c - you at FISL?
LeoNerdOn the surface it seems a sensible idea - build all the keys in the constructor, lock it to protect random typos and so on
dazjorzi gotta go, bye
