#perl - Sun 11 Mar 2007 between 00:36 and 00:54

somianVim has had Perl since Vim5.
hobbssomian: I'm aware of that
somian: I've never seen any code _use_ it.
somianI have scripts on vim.perl.org that use perl.
vim.org I mean.
hobbsor at least never come into contact with any of it :)
somianSo you can see why I am puzzled by your assertion ;-)
hobbsI think you're actually just confused ;)
maukeI think the vim irc client is done in perl
taghobbs: the stuff I've seen use it has been pretty crummy
hobbsI know +perl exists and people have used it, but I've never edited a script that used it, and as far as I've ever noticed I've never _run_ one either :)
tagmauke: Like I was saying, pretty crummy...
somianHeh, HPLIP is written in python ;-)
tagsomian: I disturbing amount of stuff is written in python
s/I/A/

I've used the same vim configuration for like 4 years

j0rdtag: aliens

somianUnless you live in Iceland, in which case it is trolls or elves.
