CaelumGumbyBRAIN: blueberries are yummy
GumbyBRAINThey are clearly doing something wrong from net::ssleay are compiled with threading support and (2) should make everything so yummy?
ddwagnzCaelum, cant find string terminator "" anywhee before EOF at -e line 1
where*
Caelumis this in windows?
ddwagnzyes
actionddwagnz whacks windows
ddwagnzwhacks windows
Caelumperl -MPOE::Component::IRC -e "POE::Component::IRC->spawn"
have to use double quotes in windows
AThorshammerCaelum: So I should use strict vars? but which word do I use, my, our or local?
Caelumjust use strict;
my
AThorshammerkk
CaelumAThorshammer: perhaps you mean $ps[$i][$j] = [qw(1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9)]; ?
ddwagnzCannot locate objct method "spawn" via package "POE::Component::IRC" at -e line 1
Caelumddwagnz: that means it's not installed
AThorshammerwhats qw?
Caelumquote words
ddwagnzor installed properly
Caelumright
ddwagnzCaelum, would sending the working IRC.pm work?
WoostaDecoding QP results in: =?Windows-1252?Q?FW:_Kind_AttendManaging_Director/_Import_Manager.?= .. so we're not there yet .. I'm guessing it's some MS shite ..
dngoreval: [1..9]
buubotdngor: [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9]
AThorshammerCaelum: I figured I just store it as a string and then regex things out of it
Caelumeh what dngor said
AThorshammerkk
wow, use strict just caused about 500 errors
Teratogenyikes!
AThorshammerI'm assuming that I have to go back through and put a my in front of everything?
Teratogenyou will probably want to rewrite the thing from scratch actually
Caelumyou need to declare your variables, yeah...
ddwagnzCaelum, what oS are you on?
Teratogenhate to break the bad news to you
AThorshammerTeratogen: What's wrong with it? It does everything its supposed to up to the point where it has to jump up the stack
Caelumddwagnz: linux. POE might be in ppm, I don't know
Teratogenfive HUNDRED errors?
WoostaNow, I guess the "=?" means it's a different encoding, the "Windows-1252" is the encoding, the "Q" is something else and then "FW:_Kind_AttendManaging_Director/_Import_Manager" is the string and "?=" ends it. .. but surely there's some module or document about this? If all whitespace is '_', how do you encode a '_'? (and thus decode it) ... I know noone knows, but I'm still yabbering away :)
ddwagnzhmm, do you have a working IRC.pm?
AThorshammerYeah, but its all stuff like Global symbol "@final" requires explicit package name at ./sudoku.pl line 220. its just because i didn't put a m in front of my declarations, and I have a lot of variables
