<wyleyrabbit> Mikaku, yes. I get a "unable to open Berkeley db /etc/sasldb2: No such file or directory" followed by a "no secret in database" then "do_auth : auth failure: [user=test] [service=smtp] [realm=domain1.com] [mech=shadow] [reason=Unknown]" and finally "Password verification failed"

<wyleyrabbit> Mikaku, very interesting. I cannot figure out why it's even looking for the /etc/sasldb2 file, since it's (theoretically) set for "shadow".
<Mikaku> wyleyrabbit: I ignore why I receive this error message but still it works. I have reproduced the same behaviour in a couple of servers with CentOS4 and FC3
<range> archangle25: You can't. cyrus-imapd uses its own format.

<range> archangle25: So it's not able to work with standard mboxes. You might want to try dovecot for that.
