quotemstrYou can try strace.
Check the error log first though.
Mr_Grim/usr/sbin/mysqld, Version: 5.1.17-beta-log (MySQL Community Server (GPL)). started with:
Tcp port: 3306 Unix socket: /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
Time Id Command Argume
and thats it
karstenIs there any way to get a tagged output format via mysql-client?
eg: field: value
... for each record?
actionkarsten has already written an awk script to do same.
karstenhas already written an awk script to do same.
gawk -F'\t' 'NR==1 { for( i=1; i<= NF; i++) {field[i] = $i}}; NR > 1 {printf( "Result: %s\n", NR-1 ); for( i=1; i<=NF; i++ ) { printf( " %-20s %s\n", field[i] ":", $i )}; print "";}
Reads fields from first line, outputs records from remainer, should work for any result modulo field length (could get max of same).
Mr_Grimfejfkewjfwfjfjewfwefewfjew , i figured it out
i have to pass another option... log-output=file
ugh!
kimseongMr_Grim: 5.1 allows general log and slow log to be written to table or file, can also turn it off and on without restarting the server
quotemstrIs MySQL 6.0 the new 5.2?
brickbritehow could i possibly be getting a duplicate-key error on a REPLACE INTO?
Mr_Grimi am back in business, back to my web applications
kimseongthere will be no 5.2, it will be number as 6.0
quotemstrOkay, that's what I thought.
