|manic||i can't get sbcl to build using CLISP as the XC host|
i knew it wouldn't happen by 10
and the highest i can set sbcl to is 112mb, which eventually runs out of heap during the build
so i am stuck
|BrianRice||manic: why are you using clisp?|
manic: you may need an older clisp version
|manic||should i install allegro into a directory without spaces and try the make.sh using that?|
|BrianRice||i cannot guide you further, though|
|valizas||i'm thinking about devoting the time and the money to travel to claire college to attend the ILC 2007, although I'm sure i'd be a pleasure, I'm still not totally convinced it will be worth enough to spend all my savings there :) Is someone in a similar dilemma ? Can someone help me to think about this ? I would highly appreciate thoughts|
|slyrus||lukego isn't around I imagine, but wtf? jsnell gets a graduation party? what about me?|

|gigamonkey||any lispbuilder-sdl users here?|
|sledge||How many :around, :before, and :after can I specify on one method?|
One of each?
|Jasko||sledge: one of each|
I suppose you get more when you specialize further on a sub-class
|gigamonkey||sledge: if you mean a single method (i.e. one DEFMETHOD form) just one.|
But you can have many DEFMETHOD forms for a given GF but only one of each type of auxilliary per specialization.
|sledge||gigamonkey: Not quite what I meant. How many additional ones can I define that either :around, :beofre, or :after specialized on the same parameters?|
I thought I could chain :after methods. Guess I can't.
|Jasko||sledge, that would go bad really quickly when you wanted to alter an :after|
|gigamonkey||sledge: One of each auxilliary type per specialization.|
Though if you really need chaining you could define your own method combination. Or possibly use one of the existing ones such as PROGN.

|sledge||gigamonkey: I send a patch to balooga that implements push-user-event. I was thinking about a callback manager using generic functions.|
|gigamonkey||Are you on the appbuilder mailing list?|
|sledge||No, but I think I should get on it.|
