beachcoffee-mug: it's a traditional prefix that means `danger', but it has no linguistic significance.
obelusspeek, i work in the financial markets
beachit avoids export by giving a different (but similar) name to the slot
obelusthe applications are kinda endless
speeki see
beachcoffee-mug, rr-- : the tendency otherwise is to give the same name to the slot and to the accessor, but then, since packages are about symbols, when you export the accessor, you also export the slot.
coffee-mug, rr-- : another recent idea I have seen is to use radius for the slot and radius-of for the accessor.

is there a way to "undefine" a generic function?
because if I change number of parameters of the methods I can't evaluate them
unless I restart slime :)
there has to be a better way to just undefine it
unintern, perhaps?

rr--does not document whether column numbering is zero- or one-based
nm, looks like 1-based based on the default being 1
although in second paragraph there is a mention of 'column zero'
