aventiskhok i try this, but have to go back from pclinux od live to kubuntu
Jucatolivingdaylight: because the feisty commercial repos are empty (afaik)
flaccid_aventiskh:
wait
aventiskh: do a sudo touch /etc/resolv.conf first
aventiskhon my pclinux os live?
ok
livingdaylightJucato, lol, so i see, as far as realplayer is concerned anyways (after all that), but i've found a deb package for it now so....
flaccid_aventiskh: make sure your networking is configured heh
livingdaylightJucato, but its good to know Kaffeine can handle .ram files
ubuntusl00: thank you i confused swap to be my root partition
Jucatolivingdaylight: iirc, it handled .ram, .rm, .rmvb quite well
of course, with w32codecs installed
kmplayer/mplayer handles it too
livingdaylightJucato, hrmm..mplayer didn't handle it here, hence the goose chase
where are the United States of Ubuntu?
aventiskhflaccid:are you on pclinux os .93 now?
flaccid_aventiskh: no im on freebsd 6.1
aventiskhouch :)
flaccid_more like bliss
aventiskhflaccid: even this error/bug was there in pcbsd
flaccid_aventiskh: which error / bug?
aventiskh/etc/resolv.conf file is missing
flaccid_can you link me to the pcbsd bug?
aventiskhkppp would kill immdeiately
flaccid_it could be kde bug then
i gave the commands you need
touch will create the file if it doesn't exist

ubotuSorry, I don't know anything about ppp - try searching on http://bots.ubuntulinux.nl/factoids.cgi
aventiskhflaccid: it was pcbsd 1.1 i think, i did report this bug , somebody was assigned to help me out but then nothing happened and i had to kill my pcbsd :)
flaccid_!adsl

flaccid_!info pppoeconf

flaccid_aventiskh: its not hard to had a nameserver entry to resolv.conf
