JucatoMaruko: once you are in ~/.kde/Autostart, right-click in the folder, select Create New -> Link to Application.
then just fill in the info that's needed (like Name, command, etc)
caris_mereMy palm isn't working with Feisty, since I upgraded.
AaronfromchinaHow can I install decorder for Amarok?
JucatoAaronfromchina: what do you mean?
KubuntuHow do I know what driver I'm using?
marukoaron u mean mp3 files support?
AaronfromchinaJucato: I'm using Amarok to play a video. It says that it there is no availble decorder.
JucatoAaronfromchina: a video? Amarok is a music player. try Kaffeine
KubuntuHow do I install the driver for NVIDA GEForce fx5500, I have installed, need to activate.
AaronfromchinaMaruko: yes, MP3 and codecs support.
JucatoAaronfromchina: you probably need to install the "libxine-extracodecs" package
!nvidia | Kubuntu
ubotuKubuntu: To install the Ati/NVidia drivers for your video card, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto
marukoyes, libxine extracodecs
the easiest way to do that is using the Automatix support
AaronfromchinaJucato: Maruko: thank you.
Jucato!automatix
ubotuAutomatix2 is a proprietary script that tries to install some software, and often fails and breaks systems. We don't provide support for it, and we strongly discourage its use. Problems caused by Automatix are often hard to track and solve, and it might sometimes be easier to !install a fresh copy of Ubuntu. See also !WorksForMe
marukono prob
uh
never had problems with that
anyway I installed my supperdt thru konsole ;)
KubuntuI want the command, nvida-glx or something
JucatoKubuntu: see the guide for which installation method you used. it's different depending on how you installed it
