ContrastYorokobi: Ok, thanks. I'll try that if worse comes to worse. I'm holding that as a last resort though, as that's going to be an extremely large number of dependencies to add to the script.
freakabcdterrestre, err.. you mean to say k3b *detecting* a blank dvd disc and saying the size is 4.4G and saying what speeds it supports is a *by chancve* event?
rohanAsh-Fox: well, kubuntu just creates a Qt wrapper around ubiquity ..
freakabcdand my dvd is the one that is crap
?
Ash-Foxrohan, yes and the migration manager is for migrating to Gnome applications...
rohanah, i see, Ash-Fox
terrestrefreakabcd: do you test another?
YorokobiContrast, aptitude may fix dependencies on the fly ... I don't use it so I can't say for certain but its worth looking in to.
freakabcdanother what?
terrestredvd
freakabcdi have only this brand of blanks.
you want me to buy another brand of blanks?
and how is it that k3b detects and even gets the speeds right?
but when it goes to burn, there is 'no dvd' :(
ContrastYorokobi: I'll keep that in mind. Thanks a lot.
YorokobiContrast, np
