RenzeChtiland: by running windowmaker and afterstep dock apps... they will dock into that panel
slyfoxsmileaf: all sites it seems, konqueror is killing my cpu
smileafhmm.. doesn't seem to do anything here.
slyfoxsmileaf: as soon as I start scrolling
ChtilandRenze: thanks :)
RenzeChtiland: if you don't have any windowmaker or afterstep dock apps, then that panel is useless for you
Chtiland: no problem
smileafslyfox: http://beta.smileaf.org/projects/ <-- how about this one?
slyfoxsmileaf: let me see, but koqnueror jsut crashed completely
ColonelPanic001Is there something I have to do for KDE or whatever to know that I can rotate my monitor?
RenzeColonelPanic001: not to KDE... to X
smileafslyfox: almost sounds like you got some install issue. maybe drivers based? who knows. cuz if it lags on that site then I know there is something messed up on your end :/
ColonelPanic001What's that? Krandrtray works fine for changing the resolution, but it doesn't offer anything about rotation, and its configuration "page" is blank
slyfoxsmileaf: this site looks ok
smileaf: give me one more sec to test it
RenzeColonelPanic001: try the xrandr command... if you can't do it with that, then you need to fix your X setup
ColonelPanic001okay
wolsniColonelPanic001: if xorg is set up to allow rotation, krandrtray will just figure it out, i think
smileafslyfox: Ok what might be happening is your running into the infamous bug that occurs with certain websites. their not quite sure what is causing it just yet tho. I think they've narrowed it down to the javascript or something. dunno exactly.
RenzeColonelPanic001: X provides the functionality... KDE just supplies a GUI
ehv80Helow
ColonelPanic001I expected that, just have no idea what I was doing :)
ehv80Yes, i'm new in gnu\linux
ColonelPanic001ah, think I have it. Think I need to add a line to xorg.cong
conf, rather
ehv80: Hii
slyfoxsmileaf: Your site too, although not as hard as google and newshutch but if I do a lot of scrolling, xorg cpu usage jusmp to 70%
smileaf: this does not happen with firefox
ehv80I'm from Argentina, i know a little of englis
sorry english
Renzeehv80: there are channels for other languages
ehv80: #kde-es for espaol, for example
smileafslyfox: most I can get mine up to is 23% and thats doing some crazy scrolling..
ColonelPanic001alright, restarting X and trying again. If it doesn't work, you'll hear from me again :)
ehv80I'm looking for info about RPC and PARALLELL PROCESS
Renzeehv80: this is the user support channel for KDE, not a general linux channel
smileafslyfox: whats your computers specs like?
slyfoxsmileaf: I get 85% when I use not the mouse wheel but the scroll bar on the right and quickly move it up and down
smileafehv80: reusable plastic containers? =p
slyfoxsmileaf: Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz Nvidia 512 Mg, 2 Gig ram Asus G1 Laptop
