thanks MrHeavy :)
|shastry||Renze: ty for checking :)|
|swanfl||does anyone know of a slot machine game for kde?|
|unity||is there a sysreset-style fileserver for konversation?|
|unity||ah nevermind, there clearly isn't|
|Renze||oh, you mean those things that 1337 people use for w4r3z?|
|unity||if i were to write an add-on to konversation, how would i do this?|
add things to the source and compile? or is there like a plug-in interface?
|Renze||unity: in any language you like, using dcop|
there isn't a plugin interface, but there is a dcop interface
the KDE4 version will probably have internal scripting support
|unity||haha you guys make kde4 look like the answer to all of life's questions|
like any shortcoming in this version of kde will be solved in kde4...?
i've looked at some to-do lists for kde4 apps and such and those lists are so large, i find it suprising that they will be done by the end of 2007
|MrHeavy||Application scripting is a big part of KDE4. It's fundamental to Plasma.|
|Renze||KDE4 means "will appear sometime in the lifetime of KDE4, not necessarily in KDE 4.0|
MrHeavy: you mean kross?
|MrHeavy||I'm not sure what framework they're actually using. I'm not a developer yet, I just follow PlanetKDE rather closely :)|
|pierreth||/away is not working|
I cannot come back
is this a problem with the irc channel
or with Konversation?
|evilbulgarian||hi i keep getting "X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3" when doing a file transfer to a cifs share but when i do it to local drive transfer windows comes up fine|
|bipolar||Does anyone know any blog software that works with Kontact's "Journal" functionality?|
|StarScream||Bipolar: if you tell me how Kontacts Journal software works i'll make blogging software that works with it|
i'm not kidding
|bipolar||StarScream: it's just an ical file.|
|StarScream||Bipolar: so how does it make requests / do authentication ?|
|bipolar||StarScream: webcal, yeah.|
StarScream: actualy, it can use anything that the calendar can use
StarScream: even ical files in an imap folder.
I would think that webcal would be the best one to use.
I would love to see a wordpress plugin, but anything will do.
