CheeryfromPolar and fromEuclidean ?
lemmihjdrake: say again?
Cheery:)
chessguythanks
Cheerythis sounds nice, doesn't it?
zbrownhttp://rafb.net/p/83cye249.html <-- sorear can you look at that and see whats goin on with my strcpy's at the end?
lambdabotTitle: Nopaste - Issues with the for loop at the end?
zbrownBasically the issue is trying to print the enum types
jdrakeLemmih: I have a function I need to make - scanSum where it sums a list of integers, but does a running total. So [1,2,3] will return [1,3,6]. I am figuring I need a pattern like: previous:current:rest. But I can't seem to cover the case of when it first starts the function (so the first item is itself instead of previous)
sorearzbrown: those are correct looking
zbrownhmmm
jdrakeI don't want the complete answer or anything, just sort of the thought process I am missing.
sorear> scanl1 (+) [1,2,3]
lambdabot[1,3,6]
psi> scanl (+) 0 [1,2,3] -- just testing.
sorearjdrake: stop reinventing
lambdabot[0,1,3,6]
lemmih> scanl1 (+) [1,2,3]
lambdabot[1,3,6]
sorearjdrake: pedagogy is ok, but if this is practical - it's unnecessary
jdrakesorear: I am doing some exercises on the wikibook.
sorear@src scanl1
lambdabotscanl1 f (x:xs) = scanl f x xs
scanl1 _ [] = []
zbrownsorear: kate has size 2.34 and is a D7 <-- its givin me that output
jdrakeWith this: scanl1 f (x:xs) = scanl f x xs What is the breakdown of the syntax on the right hand side? I am not completely sure what it is doing
sorearooh, fun
are you sure your case is complete
?
zbrownso im getting a random address space because it appears that "String temp;" is not ever being used
it should be...
sorearsounds like TheData[Index].Type isn't being initialized
ftr, in C we usually prefer names like the_data[index].type
zbrownsorear: how would i input an enum type from the comman line?
HairyDudezbrown: you might want a \n on that printf... though I don't think that'll fix it
jdrake@src scanl
lambdabotscanl f q ls = q : case ls of
[] -> []
