syntaxfreeoops.
Calewhoa :)
syntaxfreemy terminal got into some drag-and-drop funniness.
allbery_berm. notFollowedBy?
syntaxfreeI was trying to select text.
well, direct problem:
I have a parser.
I want to return whatever it succeeds at, and discard the rest.
allbery_b"succeed if the parser argument fails, return empty string" --- notFollowedBy actually returns (), but is otherwiise that, as I understand it
e.g. the eof combinator is notFollowedBy anyToken
Saizancan record syntax affect performance?
ndmSaizan: unlikely
Saizani've a zipper that actually run faster with it, it's a record with 5 field, and i make many of them that differs only for 2
s/2/2 field/

vincenzyay for paper compression
syntaxfree?
Paper compression?
earthyhm. -prof -auto-all doesn't really give any useful information in programs with extensive graphical user interfaces
Eighty@hoogle join
lambdabotMonad.join :: Monad a => a (a b) -> a b
Control.Monad.join :: Monad m => m (m a) -> m a
Data.PackedString.joinPS :: PackedString -> [PackedString] -> PackedString
Eightyis there a difference between the first two?
maukeno
allbery_bthe first is just the haskell98 namespace name for the second
Eightydifferent namespaces?
allbery_bhaskell98 doesn't have a hierarchical module namespace
EvilTerranie you're only allowed one dot in your identifiers
ndmEighty: Use Control.Monad, in the next version of Hoogle it won't even suggest Monad.join
Eightyso the Monad file would basically consist of "module Monad (join) where import Control.Monad (join)"?
