soreardons: you might want to delete /home/dons/www/tmp/index.html :)
pjdwhat are those data-flow variables in Common Lisp called again?
donsheh
sorearLatin1 bytestrings, eh?
pjdah, "cells"
donshmm. repo broken. hmm
pjdfalconair: http://common-lisp.net/project/cells/
lambdabotTitle: Cells: a dataflow extension to CLOS
kc5tjaWhat is the modulo (remainder) operator in Haskell?
ddarius@type med
lambdabotNot in scope: `med'
ddarius@type mod
lambdabotforall a. (Integral a) => a -> a -> a
ddarius@type re
lambdabotNot in scope: `re'
sorear@type rem
ddarius@type rem
lambdabotforall a. (Integral a) => a -> a -> a
kc5tjaOK.
So 1 rem 2 ought to return 1 as the result.
Hence, 1 /= 0
sorearkc5tja: no it returns "no instance for Num (a -> b)"
kc5tjaAnd that ought to be a valid boolean function.
ddarius> 1 `rem` 2
lambdabot1
falconairpjd, cells sounds similar to functional reactive programming
kc5tjaOOOHHH
sorear> 1 rem 2
lambdabotadd an instance declaration for (Num ((a -> a -> a) -> t -> a1))
I...
kc5tjaI was forgetting those stupid backticks.
pjdfalconair: it might well be (i still have to read about FRP)
donssorear: the repo got borked. you'll have to reget from scratch
falconaircool, enough material to last me a while, thanks
sorearwha?
/me obeys, bewildered
donshugs started my box swapping, and then X reset itself during a darcs commit
the repo was left in a state that meant 'repair' broke :/
so just killed the _darcs dir, and reinited
Stinger"@src" only works for basic library i.e. prelude stuff eh?
