coihi
[R]coi: if you don't want it to suck you do
Aquahallichave a app that requires libapache2-mod-auth-mysql and libapache2-mod-php5
[R]Aquahallic: well php5 is in the tree
AquahallicI emerged php5
coi[R], every time i try to get 3d accel, i just get a black screen in X, i have an ATI x200m
[R]coi: you're using ati-drivers?
Aquahallicdoesn't look like I have the module loaded
[R]Aquahallic: did you restart apache?
did you set the apache use flag?
Aquahallicyes
hmmm
don't guess I did
oh
wait
grknightAquahallic, i've never seen those mods called exactly that before
Aquahallicyou mean USE=mysql
[R]no
Aquahallic?
[R]we are talking about apache here... not mysql
summatusmentisI just rebooted, and I got a bunch of errors during the boot process that read "one of the files in /etc/{conf.d,init.d} or /etc/rc.conf has a modfication time in the future"
grknightUSE=apache2
summatusmentisHow do I fix this?
[R]summatusmentis: is your clock correct?
summatusmentis[R]: no it's off by 2 hours, why would that be?
[R]because you didnt set your clock correctly in the conf and/or in the bios
summatusmentiswell, it was fine before the reboot
Triffid_Huntersummatusmentis: does date -u say Sat May 12 03:25:50 UTC 2007 within 30 seconds or so?
Aquahallicoh.... in package.use I have... dev-lang/php dba gd session pcre mysql apache2 posix
grknightAquahallic, the default php5 module for apache 2 is called /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp5.so
[R]and when was the last time you had rebooted and/or turned it off before that?
me22summatusmentis: for some reason I always get massive clock swings from rebooting, so I have ntpd fixing it
summatusmentisTriffid_Hunter: May 11 23:21:54 UTC 2007
[R]me22: thats cuz you don't have the correct option set in the clock script
me22: there is a sync systme to hardware option
me22quite possible
summatusmentis[R]: I had hibernated it earlier this evening
prior to that, a few days
Triffid_Huntersummatusmentis: well your clock is actually 4 hours behind.. sounds like you set it to local time before setting up your timezone or something
[R]summatusmentis: well then your hibernation isn't set up right... there is an option for fixing the clock... you might also not have sync systme to hardware enabled
