t0viggaillard_, his point is that it's not enough, by itself, to write a driver
phahnrichiefrich: its not in there. its pretty unknown but the only way to get combinations of mouseclick and button to do stuff
gaillard_Draconx, where is the alsa documentation on how to disable resampling?
Draconxgaillard_, I was simply asking you "does the manufacturer release spacs?"
specs*
phahnrichiefrich: also i need the mouseclicks on the console too, not only in xorg.
rulliemarc: try to start a wm in .xinitrc
marcok
rulliemarc: i'm just guessing the problem here though =/
richiefrichphahn: yeah thats gpm unless yours is different
t0vigSo, MS is the next to drop DRM
marcrullie: well i'll be damned. i had a window manager in there before, but i had the same problem, so i took it out for debugging purposes
richiefricht0vig: since when
marcnow it works
strange
thanks
phahnrichiefrich: yeah, but to be able to get kernelsignals to send a rightclick you need to alter the original left button + ctrl to rightclick which the daemon does with uinput altering events
rulliemarc: lol np. it was a lucky guess
t0vigrichiefrich, http://www.boingboing.net/2007/04/07/microsoft_dropping_d.html
rulliemarc: actually
ka-stevemy cd drive isnt mounting.. i get "mount: special device /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 does not exist"
t0vigka-steve, is the cdrom /dev/hdc or something similar?
richiefrichphahn: im just shooting from the hip man i never used a touchpad with linux but i know the ibooks dont need that :\
t0vigka-steve, usually /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 is just a link
ka-steveim not totally sure
t0vigka-steve, check dmesg
phahnrichiefrich: yeah, they are based on atp, another driver that can do that with a kernelmodule as far as i know
MogTheMoogleis it normal for X to use 50%+ of the cpu while resizing a window?
rullieMogTheMoogle: glxgears
richiefrichka-steve: for f0 in /proc/ide/hd?;do echo $f0;cat $f0/model;done <-- will tell you
rullieMogTheMoogle: how may fps do u get
gaillard_richiefrich, when my irc just crashed, i lost that link you gave me... do you have it again? sorry, but i am giving it to the OSS devs
should the OSS guys be fixing this problem or the people responsible for libsndfile?
richiefrichgaillard_: yeah
t0vigrichiefrich, i'm saving that... thanks
rulliegaillard_: u're still on ur mplayer issue?
MogTheMooglerullie just under 1000, with an nvidia 6200 and sempron 2600+
ka-stevei got /proc/ide/hdc
gaillard_rullie, yup
rulliegaillard_: =/
