PulsewidthHow fast is Linux supposed to poll a USB keyboard?
suisidewepy: nothing's free anymore, all that costs *someone* money
Pulsewidthusbview says the interval is 10ms, but I wrote a program using SDL to spin the event loop and log the microsecond time of each key event
And the times are roughly quantized to 8ms (125Hz)
Fieldymight be a better question for a programming channel
psychoschlumpfhi, i got here the following Problem: i configured /etc/conf.d/net to set an ipv6 address to eth0 (http://rafb.net/p/gCujvT45.html) and now, when do '/etc/init.d/net.eth0 start' it says "Error: an inet prefix is expected rather than "2001:6f8:1069:::111/64"." when trying to set the ipv6 ip :-/ can anyone help me please?
wepyPulsewidth: where does usbview get its information?
PulsewidthI don't know
wepyPulsewidth: also, is it possible sdl does anything on that level?
PulsewidthThat's what I'm suspecting
chitheadPulsewidth: iirc the usb controller polls the devices
Priest-of-Psiif I use genkernel now is it possible for me to recompile my own kernel at a later stage?
