jmbsvicetto[sellout]: Yup. Are you using phpBB, vbulletin or something else?
RiverRatAdylas: Blow off that alsa driver thing unless you need it. It is a PITA dealing with it on every kernel modification/upgrade.
jmbsvicettoRiverRat: Well, but on the other hand, you can avoid issues with alsa-utils and alsa-tools ;)
RiverRatAdylas: Intel/SiS/nVidia/AMD/ALi AC97 Controller
jmbsvicettoRiverRat: Just ask flameeyes ;)
AdylasRiverRat, Yeah I know .. That piss me off a bit .. But if thats the only way
[sellout]jmbsvicetto: simple machines...not my choice, but it suits their needs for now. I have not played with it much.
it relies HEAVILY on /tmp usage and as such i had to move /tmp to a quick and diry loopback device until we get another 2 gigs of ram.
RiverRatAdylas: If it is the only way then you have to. I used to use the drivers (and had to for awhile) but now the kernel deals with my sound fine.
[sellout]@ jmbsvicetto
AdylasRiverRat, The 2.6.19 was fine for me ..

TTTi have a core2duo macbook, can grub work on that?
