Draconx|LaptopRiverRat, must have missed it
Jerr|sdjmbsvicetto: yeah, the arch-gcc-* execs were missing
jmbsvicetto: do you idle in this channel?
RiverRatDraconx|Laptop: I added the libata like you suggested to make my DVD burn right and then I couldn't mount my encrypted disks. :(
jmbsvicettosummatusmentis: What proc?
igliJerr|sd: no he's just doing a stint. leave him alone ;)
jmbsvicettoJerr|sd: yes
iglier ;P
braeteneJerr|sd, should i just use the installer app?
Jerr|sdjmbsvicetto: cuz if you were on today, you could look back about 6hr ago and see everything that happened
iglilol
Draconx|LaptopRiverRat, hm
summatusmentisjmbsvicetto: AMD Athlon XP-M 2800+
Jerr|sdbraetene: I dunno, I used the minimal install CD (server install)
jmbsvicettoigli: :)
igliheh
TTTthere isn't airport support in the kernel?
RiverRatDraconx|Laptop: Functioning HDs are more important than a burning DVD. It reads just fine though.
jmbsvicettoJerr|sd: 6 hours on #gentoo? :o
braeteneJerr|sd, lol i think if i had used the mininum id know what to do, id prefer to do all this from CLI
jmbsvicettoJerr|sd: Do you know how many thousand lines that means? ;)
putzP
ballerenis
braetenelol
Jerr|sdjmbsvicetto: heh, sorry. I'm on irssi over an ssh connection to a shared (free) shell
jmbsvicettosummatusmentis: What live-cd?
Jerr|sdjmbsvicetto: and I just held down "pg up"
dpixquick IPTABLES question. I want to nat/forward all traffic from a specific source IP (external to LAN) to a specific internal ip (inside the LAN). Right now I am trying somthing like 'iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p -tcp -i eth0 -s $EXTERNAL_IP -j DNAT --to-destination $INTERNAL_IP'
jmbsvicettoJerr|sd: I'm also using irssi, but there's too much noise here ;)
summatusmentisjmbsvicetto: the full 2006.0 live-cd, it was like... 600-700Mb
I don't remember the name
Jerr|sdjmbsvicetto: yeah, don't worry
I can look back and copy it
Draconx|Laptopdpix, tried #iptables?
dpixno, thank you :)
jmbsvicettosummatusmentis: That's the gli, but for x86 or amd64 ?
summatusmentisjmbsvicetto: x86
Jerr|sdjmbsvicetto: this was after the discussion with me, when I went away (to someone else...)
jmbsvicettosummatusmentis: Can you get any other recent linux cd to boot?
Jerr|sdjmbsvicetto: 14:12 < Ciaran_H> Griffon26: He's missing the important files. He still has /usr/bin/gcc and /usr/bin/i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc , but is missing /usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.1.1/i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc , which is the important one. (yes, he's using 4.1.1)
