kerframilno?
Myagykerframil: just a simple GTK+ install
kerframilok
Myagykerframil: with kde
no special settings made
Praisedoes anybody use cyrus-sasl here?
kerframilok, well that's kind of immaterial to the question
Myagynone for the shell anyway
kerframil: i dont understand your last statement
Tenser234Hello again
ChicagoPraise: I'm using cyrus-sasl
PraiseChicago: do you use courier-imap too?
ChicagoPraise: Yes
Tenser234Quick bash scripting question for if then statements if anyone could help
PraiseChicago: then you can't test if the courier-imap dep is bogus:)
kerframilMyagy: ok, are you operating in a virtual console at the moment or X?
nanonymegnah
XaeroXhow would I go about setting up more then one route .... I have a box with multiple IP's over several networks do I just copy the default and duplicate it for the new gateway ... or is there a special way to do it.
Myagykerframil: well, as i said: i have konsole opened up in KDE
stevenmHello. How can I get the internal temperature of an intel mac mini? Is the driver in the kernel, or do I need a patch.. none of the lm-sensors seem to work straight up
Myagy(sorry if my answer does not satisfy you)
kerframilMyagy: ok, just a sec
NDAKOTAwhile booting, there is an warning says"no dhcp client installed", is that also in the kernel?
ChicagoPraise: Well then which mail program were you going to use cyrus-sasl to authenticate for?
NDAKOTAhow do I install dhcp client?
XaeroXemerge dhcpcd
FarhodNDAKOTA, emerge -v dhcpcd
PraiseChicago: I use for authenticate smtp, not courier
and I use dovecot anyway
RobbieABNDAKOTA: that tells you your network card is detected.
ChicagoPraise: It's pretty easy to setup a MySQL database for Postfix to use to authenticate for SMTP if you're interested in setting up some virtual MTA.
RobbieABNDAKOTA: however, you need a working network config to emerge dhcpcd...
NDAKOTAyea, RobbieAB, progress
PraiseChicago: but I don't want mysql to do it
brokemyx2BigJ: ahh stupid nopaste didn't post it up..
RobbieABNDAKOTA: do you know what IP you got on the network
PraiseI am only looking for a test, before reporting the stupid dependency
everything is working here
NDAKOTAyea, I have assigned dhcp to eth0 in network config file
kerframilMyagy: can you run "ps axjf" in a console as root and pastebin the output?
