fowyes Ashton_Ke
broylesAshton_Ke, that % means group iirc :)

Ashton_Kek, and I'm part of the wheel group, I did check that.
laser-ZogG: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xfce-config.xml#doc_chap4
Ashton_KeAnd sudo works, in the terminal. But it doesn't even prompt for a password when trying to access things under the System -> Administration menu.
zlinConstrabus: paste the output of emerge on rafb.net/paste (with the circular deps).
broylesAshton_Ke, goto system - >preferences >- privilege granting and change it to su
laser-bsdfox: hm .. well I guess you have some pretty bad FS problems .. no idea
Ashton_Kebroyles: It was at su.
NDAKOTAin /etc/make.conf, is it ok to just add a seperate line and write -> USE="apache2,bzip2,cdr"
bsdfox:(
broylesoh, i had a simlier problem when i had it on sudo , try changing it to sudo :P
Ashton_Ke, oh, i had a simlier problem when i had it on sudo , try changing it to sudo :P
Ashton_KeSimilar issue.
broylesAshton_Ke, sorry then :/ no idea
laser-NDAKOTA: you don't separate flags with commas, but rather white space
NDAKOTA: and do you mean if it's ok to have two lines beginning with USE=" ?
NDAKOTAno, just one line
Constrabuszlin How do I do in cli?
laser-.. /etc/make.conf is where you're supposed to define USE
NDAKOTAthe line above is ->GENTOO_MIRRORS="..."
Ashton_KeGlobal use flags, that is.
zlinConstrabus: emerge wgetpaste or nopaste.
laser-NDAKOTA: it doesn't matter, you can put it after/before that line
ZogGlaser- i installed thunar-archive but can't open anything with it =(
laser-did you install xarchiver ? took care of use flags?
ZogGlaser- only thunar-archive
laser-*cough*
Nereid__`emerge -pvuND world` tells me

* QA Notice: The package x11-libs/gtk+-2.10.6-r1 still uses the broken debug.eclass
that
Constrabuszlin Im not sure how to use this nopaste. Its hanging when I run it
laser-ZogG: then go ahead and install xarchiver, this is specified on the gentoo page I gave you
