Draconx|LaptopPo0ky, disable AIGLX then.
taurokposomebody here?
Po0kyI'm googling on how to do that DrEeevil
err, Draconx|Laptop
sry dr
Draconx|Laptopman xorg.conf /AIGLX
reisiotaurokpo: ?
larrythecowdoes ANYONE know a hack to make dark-oberon work on amd64?
and does anyone know how to burn mds and mdf?
Draconx|Laptopmdf2iso
reisiolarrythecow: perhaps you can use the x86 package
xinmingWhen will 2007.1 be released please?
Since I wish to install gentoo on another computer.
[R]xinming: when its ready.. but it doesnt matter
xinmingI don't wish to recompile every thing again. :-)
Atoms.0 not released and you want .1 ?
schmirgohi, is there a way to make devicemapper poll for a device and mount it when it shows up?
[R]xinming: if you install now, and just update the new stuff... its all the same
blackacemzbot: teach xinming about 2007.0
mzbotxinming: Gentoo 2007.0 is currently being worked on. Keep in mind that if you wish to install Gentoo, you do not need to wait for the next release. You can install using 2006.1 media, and as part of the installation, your entire system is brought up to date. See http://xrl.us/vfev for an estimate of the release date.
larrythecowreisio: nope, won't work. it gets compile errors that other 64bit users get.
xinming[R]: No, It's not, I don't wish to change any USE in default profile, And for 2006.1, If I upgrade, It's really really really slow..
Draconx|Laptopschmirgo, devicemapper? The kernel driver of that name does not really do anything on its own.
[R]xinming: what does changing use have to do with anything? and if its "really really slow" if you upgrade... your doing something so very horribly wrong
larrythecowmdf2iso hmm.. what about mds?
reisiolarrythecow: chroot jail?
xinming[R]: Just download the 2006.1 tar ball, and unpack, and emerge --sync && emerge -uDN world
[R]: You will know what I mean.
ralphoi just installed 2006.1 how does it get up to date everything was from dvd
larrythecowreisio: what?
[R]xinming: i have no clue what you are talking about
ralpho: emerge --sync && emerge -uDN world
schmirgoDraconx|Laptop, actually i'm looking for some thing that mounts the device as soon as it shows up under /dev/mapper
[R]xinming: are you talking about how theres alot of packages to update?
