Draconx|Laptopn17ikh|Lappy, ok then of course it's not going to fix that file automatically
p4r0l3after i net-setup my nic, what should I do on the livecd to get internet working? just modprobe eth3?
leshasteit comes from emerge ati-drivers
chitheadloki`: yes, your x server does not recognize more than 800x600 which is most likely due to xorg.conf monitor misconfiguration
klingonNightKhaos, thanks for the script
action_AxS_ notes that we really gotta tell ppl they shouldn't add those options into their conf.d/net by default, just because it is in net.example
_AxS_notes that we really gotta tell ppl they shouldn't add those options into their conf.d/net by default, just because it is in net.example

leo_can anybody tell me with which tool i can monitor what process accesses the hdd?
chitheadloki`: check Xorg.0.log why that mode is rejected

_AxS_nikolavp: huh?
nikolavpsince Gentoo support dhcp by default :)
p4r0l3that's why I don't understand why it's not working, it detects my ethernet ports as eth3 and eth4
