zlinSpaT: yes, probably without losing data.
blitz997wd, ls /usr/portage/x11-drivers
gentoodudeanyone know the grub vga= code for 32bit 1280x1024 please?
Thanks
wdblitz997: all i know is 2 months ago when i set this up i did emerge -pv xorg-x11.
zlinSpaT: although I don't see why you don't just unmount it and resize it with parted..
SpaTzlin: i have a better idea as i have a ton of rewritable dvd's here. i can make a backup on those
blitz997wd, emerge xf86-video-trident
zlinSpaT: that is a good idea though. :)
SpaTzlin: needs to be at the exact beginning
zlin: else you WILL lose your data
chitheadgentoodude: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=10
zlinahh. you probably know better than I do about that then..
unityhow can i check what nfs version is being used in a mounted nfs share? as in v3 or v4?
fietronicJackieRipper, Intel HD Audio?
gentoodudechithead: 0x31B ?
JackieRipperfietronic: yes
gentoodudechithead: what is 16M
wdblitz997: ok, so emerge video driver, then what, because it's in my make and xorg.conf?
gentoodude16 million?
chitheadgentoodude: yes, however that is 24 bit
SpaTzlin: on the other hand maybe parted is smart enough to realize that the data is still there and will copy it to the correct location
gentoodudechithead: i really want 32 :(
wdblitz997: still do the xorg-configure?
blitz997wd, just do eselect like i posted and that should be it
zlinSpaT: you should probably read some docs to verify it..
wdblitz997: ok after emerge trident?
blitz997wd, well try using the xorg.conf you have already
gentoodudechithead: how do i make it 32 bit please?
blitz997wd, yeah
actionfietronic compiles
fietroniccompiles
chitheadgentoodude: I think 32 bit is only possible with graphics chipset specific framebuffer drivers
fietronicJackieRipper, Hopefully that works out. thanks :)
gentoodudechithead: what should i do
Tefadi thought vesa supported it
SpaTzlin: i am emerging parted right now. i used reiserfs tools/docs to get me where i am now
gentoodudeTefad: do u know how to get the code for 32bit 1280x1024
chitheadgentoodude: when vesa defined their video modes, graphics memory was still scarce ;-)
Tefadisn't 24bit the same as 32 as far as FB goes
JackieRipperfietronic: just to make sure it's clear: Advance linux sound architecture(module), Sequencer support(module), RTC Timer support(module), Use RTC as default sequencer timer(yes) Verbose procfs contents(module), PCI Devices -> Intel HD Audio(module)
