cybaneIf I want to SSH to my gentoo machine do I need to install a SSH server or is there some cofig I can change
NightKhaosmurosai: mplayer gets sound problems when playing DVDs for some reason. Something to do with changing the freq of the sound.
JackieRipperCybane: you'd need an ssh server

NightKhaosdavo: you want xdm service to start, but you don't want it to switch consoles?
s0ulslackdavo: remove xdm from your default runlevel
NightKhaosCybane: rc-update add sshd default... don't want the start.
